After graduating from the University of Cambridge in 2015, Katherine joined a first opinion practice in West Sussex, where she started developing her interest in ultrasonography. In 2019 she moved to a hospital in Essex, taking on referrals for ultrasound, CT and MRI. During this time she completed a post graduate certificate in diagnostic imaging and, later, in computed tomography. She became lead vet in January 2023.

Katherine joined the NDSR team in March 2024 as a diagnostic imager working with ultrasound and CT.

In her spare time she enjoys canicrossing with her working cocker spaniel, Ralph.
