EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine

Victoria graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2006. She subsequently returned to the Small Animal Hospital at the University of Glasgow to perform a rotating internship in 2008. Following this, she enjoyed several years in first opinion practice in the UK and in Hong Kong. She commenced a combined Masters and ECVIM-CA internal medicine residency programme at the University of Glasgow in 2013.

Victoria very much enjoys all aspects of Internal Medicine. Due to a particular interest in feline medicine, she undertook additional examinations during her studies and obtained the title of Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (MANZCVS) in Feline Medicine in August 2014. She was awarded her European Diploma in internal medicine in 2017.

EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine

Alenka graduated from the Veterinary faculty of University in Ljubljana in 2002. After graduation she participated in two internships, one a short rotating internship in Slovenia, the other an internal medicine internship at the University Teaching Hospital in Munich, Germany. Alenka then spent a year as a first opinion practitioner before completing a PhD degree programme in molecular biology (endocrinology) at the University in Ljubljana in 2009. Between 2010 and 2013 Alenka completed the internal medicine residency programme at Ghent University in Belgium. After working as Head of Internal Medicine at a referral practice in Wiltshire, she took a one year position as a senior internal medicine clinician at Langford Veterinary Services, Small animal referral hospital at Bristol University. 

Alenka enjoys all aspects of internal medicine but her main areas of interest are endocrinology and gastroenterology. She was awarded her Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in early 2017.
