Committed to excellence

As well as refreshing our brand we have made a

number of changes at NDSR over the last few months.

We hope these changes will improve the service we

provide our referring vets and their clients.

Dedicated Referring Vets Bookings Line

We have set up a separate telephone number solely for the use of referring vets

to allow us to deal more quickly and smoothly with your calls. The number is

01883 741449


Availability of Direct Claims

As you will be aware we have not in the past been able to offer all clients the

option to make a direct insurance claim. We are now happy to offer direct claims

to all clients who request one, subject to certain conditions. More information will

be provided to both you and the client as and when the situation arises. We hope

this will make the referral process easier for many of your clients.

Increased Consultations

We have recently opened up additional consultation slots to ensure we can meet

your requests for appointments.

Additional Theatre

Our third theatre is now fully equipped and will be available to support the surgery

caseload when required.

Increased Staffing

We have significantly increased our nursing numbers in recent months with an

additional 9 nurses and ward assistants to ensure we can continue to provide our

usual high standard of nursing care for our increased caseload. All of our nurses

are fully qualified and registered.

From January we are welcoming an additional

Specialist Anaesthetist, along with additional Specialists in Surgery, Medicine and

Oncology later during 2016.

24/7 365 Days a Year Onsite Veterinary Surgeon Care

In addition to our team of registered RVN night nurses, we have expanded our

intern team to provide continuous onsite veterinary surgeon care of inpatients

throughout the night and at weekends.

anaesthetist joins

The provision of safe anaesthesia

and optimal analgesia is extremely

important to us, particularly with

the sick patients and complex

procedures we deal with. We

are proud to be able to offer

a specialist-led dedicated

anaesthesia service. We have now

been joined by Rui Pinelas who

joins Angie Lozano so we have two

full time Specialists in anaesthesia

and analgesia at the hospital.
